RACAD John 13:2 Highlights
The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
The verse tells us, how people engage their hearts in other activities even while in the presence of God or seated with the Master.
Judas was a perfect example, during the meal his heart was engaged with a serious discussion with the devil and after which devil prompted him to betray Jesus.
The devil found him and penetrated his weakness.
John 12:4-6. This he (Iscariot) said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.”
The story of Judas Iscariot began to take a new twist when this elevated disciple took advantage of his position to attempt to enrich himself.
Being the treasurer and having access to all the money that came in, he began to steal some for himself. As to why Judas Iscariot was so desperate for money to the point of stealing.
Now!!!
What is that weakness we need to deal with before it’s too late, so that the devil does not take advantage?
May help us all in Jesus Name.
