Read A Chapter A Day (RACAD) John 10
1. Jesus is not only our shepherd, but the GOOD shepherd( this means some that are called shepherd are not good, may we not fall prey to them)
2. Jesus is the only “way” to salvation(for those still confused by other religions of the world, deceiving themselves that we all serve the same God but in different ways, here lies the evidence) Jesus has a legal right over our lives. He does not force his will on us, unlike the thief who breaks in and takes possession by force.
3. Jesus leads his sheep, goes ahead of his own. Puts himself on the line of danger for the safety of the sheep. (Ps 23:4)
4. Our Shepherd has a unique *voice* if you are His sheep, you will recognize this voice and follow it. (Discernment of spirits)
5. This shepherd lays down his life for his sheep (Is 53:5-6)
6. He that follows him finds pasture.(Ps 23:1-2) There is provision
7. He knows his sheep, likewise the sheep knows him (Rom 8:16, 9b)
8. His sheep listens to his voice and follows him (Is 30:21)
9. He gives eternal life to his sheep (Jn 3:16)
10. No one can snatch those that come to him away from his hand (Romans 8:38-39)
