RACAD Genesis 50
The Book of Genesis Chapter 50 recorded the Death & Burial of Jacob and the Assurances of Joseph to his Brothers.
Scriptures in Focus: Genesis 50:15-21
V15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the EVIL which we did to him.”
V16 So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, V17 ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did EVIL to you.” ’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
V18 Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
V19 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God?
V20 But as for you, you meant EVIL against me; but God meant it for GOOD, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
V21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
LESSONS
1. THERE IS NO “DEPUTY GOD”

“AM I IN THE PLACE OF GOD”?
Hallelujah!
Joseph recognised that he is NOT God.
Indeed, we all need to REMEMBER that God is sovereign and No Man should attempt to play God in the lives of Others.
Attempting to play “god” has been diagnosed as a Medical Condition called “HUBRIS SYNDROME”
The only cure is “DISGRACE” as was dispensed to King Nebuchadnezzar
(Dan 4: 28-37)
2. HEAVEN’S MASTER STROKE /TRUMP CARD & SUPERIOR GAME PLAN
Gen 50: 20
“As for you, you meant EVIL against me; but God meant it for GOOD”
The Modus Operandi of Jehovah is to OUTFOX the Crafty!
According to Job 5:12-13, He FRUSTRATES the plotting of the shrewd, so that their hands cannot attain success”
This is the WISDOM of God in a MYSTERY even the HIDDEN WISDOM,which God ordained before the world unto OUR glory: which none of the prince’s of this world knew: for had they known it they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.
( 1 Corinthians 2:7-8)
Brethren, It’s Either we Win or Have already Won!
Praise The Lord for He is able to make ALL Things work together for our GOOD.
(Romans 8:28)
In this instance, God used Joseph to save Israel and the WORLD such that the coming of Jesus is strategically preserved.
3. OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD
Genesis 50: 21
“And he (JOSEPH) comforted them (HIS BROTHERS)”
This is Hard but fitting Closure to a Saga of Siblings Rivalries triggered from a Vision/ Dream from HEAVEN.

PRAYERS

Father, strengthen me to bear while it hurts and engrace me to overcome EVIL with GOOD

Father, I know that All things are working together for My Good.
Help me to be strong and focused as your Eternal Purposes are unfolding in my life.

Father, grant me Spirit of (HUMILITY = JESUS) who being God still humbled Himself to die on the cross for me.
