Psalm 12&14

We as God’s children should be free to reason with our Father God but we should be careful to know where and when to stop our argument knowing that God our Father knows us more than we know ourselves.

Is he not the One who created us? He formed us and gave us breathe!

In chapter 5:22, Moses expressed his feelings to God, and I quote: ” And Moses returned unto the Lord and said, Lord wherefore has thou so evil entreated this people? Why is it that thou has sent me? Verse 23 “For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.”

Remember, God is the One who sent Moses to Pharaoh. At first, Moses was reluctant to go. He was giving God excuses pointing out to God that he was not eloquent even though God promised to be with his mouth, he still refused to trust God.

I believe that if Moses had believed that God could heal his stammering tongue, God would have given him a brand new tongue and even the tongue of the learned because God asked Moses a question in Chapter 4:11, “Who hath made man’s mouth?”  So, when God sends us on errand, we should trust His ability that He can do all things!

God is such a gracious and a loving Father! Look at His response to Moses’ displeasure.

Moses has told God that why did He send him to Pharaoh? And He did not save His people at all! This is God’s response in chapter 6:1, ” Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.”

In Verse 3, God introduced Himself to Moses with another name revealing a new dimension of His greatness and power! And I quote, “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac and unto Jacob by the Name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

I believe that God was telling Moses that He God is a Mighty Man of war! That He knows how to handle Pharaoh, that Moses should just leave Pharaoh for Him.

Brethren, when we are faced with a nagging situation, it is good to tell God how we feel, no pretence!

God instructed Moses to speak with the heads of the Houses of the three most senior children of Israel: Reuben, Simeon and Levi; their children and the heads of each family to go with him and Aaron to speak to Pharaoh.

Verse 20 highlights the parents of Moses and Aaron. ” And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife, and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty and seven years.”

Even till the end of this chapter 6, Moses was still telling God about his weakness. Verse 30, “And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?”

It was good that Moses told God about all his fears so that God can really fortify him. When he is well equipped that will boost his confidence!

Brethren, before we go out to face the strong man that is posing a threat to us and our people, let us ask God to fortify us by equipping us very well!

The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God! The people want to see the miracles just like the Moses, the Pharaoh, the Egyptians and the Israelites.

PRAYER POINTS.
Father, equip us mightily for the end time harvest with miracles, signs and wonders and for the propagation of the gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ on the earth in Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name we pray! Amen!
