Exodus 14
The Book of Exodus Chapter 14 recorded the crossing of the Red Sea and the supernatural victory over the Chariots and Horsemen of Egypt.
Scriptures in Focus: EXODUS 14:19-20
“And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.
So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel.
Thus it was a CLOUD OF DARKNESS to the one and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other All that night”
LESSONS
1. ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT!
According to Hebrews 1:14, Almighty God designates MINISTERING SPIRITS (Angels) to protect and carry out IMPORTANT ASSIGNMENTS for Believers.
It is also promised that “He shall give His Angels charge over you to keep you in ALL YOUR WAYS” (Psalms 91:11)
While we thank God for this privilege of the SERVICES of Angels, we pray for DISCERNMENT, DECORUM & RIGHT ATTITUDES to maximise the BENEFITS in our Lives, Families and Ministries. Amen.
Indeed, Hebrews 13:2 admonished Believers to show HOSPITALITY to strangers because many have encountered ANGELS yet not aware.
2. SAME CAUSE YET DIFFERENT EFFECTS: What a Mighty God that We serve!!
Exodus 14:20 teaches a FUNDAMENTAL LESSON that the Providence of God have a BLACK & DARK side towards SIN & SINNERS but a BRIGHT & PLEASANT SIDE towards the people of the Lord.
There is a Choice to make ALWAYS & Consequences attending our choices.
We pray that “When Men are cast down, for us on The Lord’s side, there is lifting up for He shall save the humble person.
(Job 22:29)
Father help us to ALWAYS be on the Lord’s Side. Amen.
