Psalm 27:7
Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
EXHORTATION
Even though Esau sold his birthright, he still found mercy with God somehow. After Esau sold his birthright, he singlehandedly built a city called Edom within 14 years his brother was away to sojourn in Haran. Who then say God’s mercy is not rich?
So many Christians are not able to comprehend how God blesses a sinner who finds mercy with God. Though Ismael was not the covenant child but God did not reject him and his descendants.
Genesis 21:17-20
And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. [18] Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. [19] And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. [20] And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
You may have written off yourself because of your past, if you can trust God’s mercy, you can go places again. If by mercy, those outside the covenant can climb the ladder of greatness, you can do much more. You are a covenant child of God, his mercy is always with you and before the end of this 21 days fasting and prayer, mercy will locate you in Jesus name.
They abandoned the ark of God in the house of Obededom so that even if the ark is to kill let it be the household of Obededom; but mercy turned the killer ark to the friend of Obededom and in three months the story of his life changed for good. And instead of being dead, he became an envy of many. After this 21 days encounter, mercy will turn your situation around until you become an envy to your generation in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, the mercy that located Esau who despite losing his birthright yet prospered, let that mercy locate me and my household today in Jesus name.
2. Obededom was forgotten but mercy remembered him and he became an envy of many, oh God, let your mercy find us out in LFF.
4. Let mercy frustrates judgement, in my life, my family, the church and in our nation; let mercy frustrate every judgement hanging over us in Jesus name.
5. Ishmael was born outside your will yet mercy was kind to him, my father and my Lord, let your mercy be kind to me your covenant child in Jesus name.
6. Oh God, remember the pains and the blood of your son shed on the cross of Calvary and open the door of mercy unto us in Nigeria in Jesus name.
Let’s take 10 minutes to plead the blood of Jesus upon ourselves, our families, the church and the nation.
