THEMES: Broken Promises and The Severe Consequences of Breaking a Covenant with God!
This chapter 34 focuses primarily on the prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem and the captivity of King Zedekiah by the Babylonians,
the condemnation of the people of Judah for breaking their covenant with God by releasing their Hebrew slaves and then taking them back into servitude when they thought the Babylonians’ threat was temporarily lifted.
