The bible says while men slept, the enemy came and sow tares into his wheat, and this is why many people who were doing well before are now suffering, because they refused to take charge of their night time, many destinies have been altered in the dream, sicknesses and diseases have been introduced into people’s lives through their dreams, infact, many are dead today as a result of the arrows shot against them in the dream by the enemy (Matthew 13:25)
This is why it is important to pray before going to sleep in the night, so as to proactively incapacitate the enemy, and render the activity of the devil useless even before they carry it out.
The bible tells us that “the weapon of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
This scripture simply tells us that we have a spiritual weapon that is capable of bringing down the strongholds of the devil through God and is able to bring into captivity every plot of the enemy that is in contrast with the promise of God for our lives.
For example, when the enemy plans to come against you, with sickness and death, because the Lord has promised that He will bring you health and satisfy you with long life,(Jeremiah 33:6, Psalm 91), as you make use of your spiritual weapon of prayer, you will be rendering the evil plot of the wicked useless as the bible says: “thus saith the Lord it shall not stand neither shall it come to pass” (Isaiah 7:7, Numbers 23:23)
So choosing not to pray before going to sleep in the night is deciding to do oneself a great harm, this is why we are sharing with you today these powerful short night prayers for you and your loved ones

4. Father I ask that you show me mercy in all ways I have sinned and fallen short of your glory
5. Oh Lord I ask that you purge me of every unrighteousness and let your mercy speak for me in Jesus name.
6. Every loophole in my life that can grant the enemy access into my life, I block them now by the blood of Jesus Christ
7. I soak myself and my family in the blood of Jesus Christ
8. Father as we go to sleep tonight let your divine protection be upon me and my family in Jesus name
9. Oh Lord I ask that you frustrate the activities of the enemy around my family as we go to sleep tonight in Jesus name
10. Every programmed attack against me in the dream, I cancel it now by the blood of Jesus Christ
11. Every plan of the enemy against my health as I go to sleep tonight, I render it useless in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
12. Lord I ask that you dislodge every structure of darkness around my life and my family in Jesus name
