“Praying according to His Will”
“I believed and therefore I spoke”, we also believe, therefore we also speak”

In the beginning, the Heaven and The Earth were created by the spoken WORD of God
God said, “Let There Be Light and there was light” (Genesis 1:3)
According to Isaiah 55:11, “The Word of The Lord shall Not return void… But it shall accomplish… and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it”
Since, Elijah was a Man with nature like ours, we can exercise FAITH & declare His WORD.

According to Numbers 14:28, As surely as I live, declares the Lord , I will DO to you the very thing I heard you SAY”
The Critical Factor is praying “ACCORDING TO HIS WILL”

Conclusion
Heaven backed the Decree of ELIJAH because Israel was in transgression therefore qualified for Divine Chastisement.
The Will of God AND the Word of Elijah AGREED:
RESULT= The Heaven was closed at the Word of Elijah!
Reflection Number Two
“LET YOUR OBEDIENCE BE COMPLETE”
The sustenance of Elijah and the widow’s family rested on the OBEDIENCE of Elijah as well as the widow to INSTRUCTIONS!
“And she went and did According to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house,did eat many days. Complete Obedience!
(1 Kings 17:15)
Brethren, some Divine Instructions may be UNUSUAL or COUNTER- INTUITIVE, yet, therein rests the MIRACLE.
In the Sovereignty of Almighty God, He employed unusual MEANS to provide for his Prophet!
It may Not make Sense!!
Conclusion
God can not be boxed in a corner -The Lord may choose to command a raven or a widow to accomplish His purpose !!
What To Do?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.( Prov. 3:5-6)
