Psalms 67:5 -8
Let the peoples praise YOU, O GOD;
Let all the peoples praise YOU.
Then the earth shall yield her increase;
GOD, our own GOD, shall bless us.
GOD shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear HIM.

This Psalm shows us that the glory of the LORD is made manifest in the blessings of HIS people.
When the children of Israel were exempted from the plagues that ravished the land of Egypt, it was very clear to the Egyptians that their GOD was by far greater than their gods. There was no need for too much preaching and convincing.
Even Pharaoh knew and great fear fell upon the Egyptians. As they journeyed from Egypt to Canaan, every nation along the way feared them because of the evidential glory and power of GOD upon the people. Did they have their internal struggles and shortcomings? Yes, but because they chose to look up to GOD in every situation that confronted them, they prevailed.
In times like this, when everyone is shouting about the woes of the economy, this psalms is throwing us out a challenge: Can we even in the midst of the seemingly woes of the economy or our own personal struggles choose to look up to GOD in praises and see whether if we keep doing it persistently and consistently till it becomes our habit, if GOD will not answer us as HE did, Jehoshaphat.
Remember, if there is one thing that will quench the blessings of GOD, it is murmuring.
