Luke 19:30-31 “Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. 31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him”.
When God created man, He created man with what we generally call the “dominion mandate”.
He told Adam in the garden be fruitful and multiply subdue the earth have dominion over everything (Genesis 1:28)
When you read the book of Psalms 8 it says “You (God) have made him (man) to have dominion over the works of your hands, you have put all things under his feet”. When the bible says “all things” it does not exclude anything.
Unfortunately for many of us who are God’s children we are not living our lives like people who have all things under their feet. God himself began to confirm this Dominion mandate again at the Tower of Babel.
The Lord himself said something instructive, He said seeing that they have began to do this, nothing that they purpose to do will be withheld from them (Genesis 11:6)
This suggests to me that you and I are unstoppable, however it is rather unfortunate that many of us have not even taken off, not to talk of soaring high, like the eagle, but I pray for you, from today you will begin to soar in Jesus mighty name.
Look at the story behind our main text, what is a colt or donkey generally, it is an animal used for transportation, it is reputed with the ability to convey heavy load and to travel over long distances.
From a study carried out about the colt or donkey, it is discovered that they have very good eyesight and are able to maneuver very rocky terrain.
This is how God created the donkey but in the chapter we read, one could see that the donkey was far from fulfilling the purpose for which God created it, why is that?
This is because the donkey was tied, the donkey was not meant to be tied rather it was created to help ease burdens, carry goods or humans across long distances but this particular one was tied, that is, a limitation had been set on the donkey, so the donkey could only move within the scope of the tree and the cord with which it was tied.
A limitation is a condition that places a seal or a barrier to progress in a person’s life. Limitation hinders people from fulfilling their potentials, it is an impediment, a control and a restriction.
Whenever limitation of any sort is placed on an individual he or she will never be able to fulfill or realize his full potential
Several things can be responsible for this limitation;
For example: anyone who is living under a curse will experience limitation, the painful fact is that many who are living under a curse don’t even know, but they just realize that evil things happen to them.
The Bible mentioned a fellow in the book of Jeremiah 22:30 “This is what the Lord says: Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper”,
Imagine a child born into this kind of family; that has been cursed, by reason of heritage, a limitation has already been placed on the life of that child.
There’s a friend I know, the grandfather of this friend placed a curse on his own mother, and what was the curse?
The grandfather was a fetish man, and his daughter had come to know Christ, the man loved his daughter so much and wanted to transfer his fetish powers to his daughter who was then a born again Christian, so she refused, then the man placed a curse on her and said “because you didn’t let me have my way in my latter days, you will not enjoy your children”.
So for her not to enjoy her children it meant that a restriction had to be placed on the lives of those children, if those children cannot take care of their immediate family, how can they think of taking care of their mother?
It then happened that all the sons of the woman struggled through life even though they were heavily endowed, they have done well in their career yet they had nothing to show for it,
It got so bad that the sons couldn’t feed their families, so their wives had to take on the responsibility of taking care of the family, this continued until one day like today,
The Word of God visited the sons, the amazing part of it all is that the sons who were struggling didn’t even know the grandfather who placed a cursed on their mother, because by the time the children were growing, the grandfather was dead, there was one of the children who came for the three days power program organized by this ministry, “Sorting Out”.
A Word came from the Lord and the curse was destroyed, from his deliverance, the other sons became delivered, because they came from the same root.
Since then, the sons began to do great things in life.
This is why I know that whatever has placed a limitation on your life is removed today by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree that you will indeed fly.
There are many people whose helpers are right beside them but because the spirit of limitation is working against them, they are unable to receive help from their helpers.
This happened in the bible days, to a fellow called Mephiboseth, though he was a grandson to King Saul and his aunt, Micah; King David’s wife was alive, Mephiboseth was taken to Lo-debar, a bad place not meant for a prince like him.
if you’re in this kind of situation that people who can actually help you out of your present challenge are around you, but they are not helping you in any way, as you pray today, I decree that your story shall change for good in Jesus name amen
Are you ready to pray, say these prayers now:
1. Father in the name of Jesus, every pronouncement made upon my life by reason of inheritance, that has hindered me from moving forward, I render them impotent now by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ
2. I release myself from every inherited misfortune, strange covenant, and curses I break off every barrier and the limitation that such barrier has placed on my life, over my business my marriage, and my finances in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
3. Every Satanic manipulation short-changing me of my destiny I command you to be destroyed now in the name of Jesus Christ
