Do you often get jealous or envious of the successful people around you? Are you worried that your envious friends may cause sudden problem for you soon. What you need to do is to pray fervently these effective prayers against the spirit of envy and jealousy.
Despite being as old as humanity, envy and jealousy are not positive emotions. They are a result of our human fallibility.
God gave each person a distinct identity and bestowed grace and gifts onto them. God will never comprehend why we are jealous of or envious of another person because, in His eyes, everyone of us has been blessed and shown grace in our own special ways.
God has given you what the other person does not have, even though you may not have what they do. You make up for what you lack in one area in another.
For example, you may be wise but not so attractive, yet you harbor resentment or jealously for someone who is extremely attractive but has poor mental capacity.
Another example is, you may envy couples that have children together, yet the people you are envious of wish they were as successful as you.
The truth is whenever you feel jealous or envious of someone, it shows that you haven’t thought about what makes you different and special.
You haven’t thought about what distinguishes you from other individuals and what makes you unique.
Also, if you have been experiencing resentment and envy from others, it means those who are resentful and envious of you are merely uneducated.
They don’t need to be jealous or envious of you since, if they look closely within, they will discover many things that they possess that you do not.
If God revealed to us all the blueprint of how He formed each of us specifically and individually, perhaps envy and jealousy will come to a stop in this world.
Wanting what other people have is quite acceptable. However, there is a problem when you start to hate and plan evil against people because they have something that you don’t have or because of what they possess.
Some people who are jealous will do anything to harm the person they are envious of or jealous of.
For this reason, you need to pray to ward off jealousy and envy.
Effective Prayers Against Jealousy And Envy
1. In the name of Jesus, I come against every spirit of resentment and anger.
