GUARD YOUR HARVEST – PST. DR. TUNDE ODE

Table of Contents

And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.” (Judges 6: 4)

In our Focal Scripture, the Midianites encamped against the Israelites and destroyed the increase of the earth. They destroyed the harvest of Israel. They watched things grow, but they didn’t allow them to survive. They waited for good news to arrive, and they scuttled it. They saw increase, but didn’t allow the increase to last.

Friend, the enemy is not happy with your increase, and does not want your results to stand the test of time; he doesn’t want your products to survive; he doesn’t want your children to survive; he doesn’t want your promotion to last; he doesn’t want your financial increase to be sustained; as God increases you, the enemy comes to decrease you.

God says, guard your harvest. Protect your harvest from the attacks of the enemy. Protect your results from being diminished; guard your promotion, financial increase, new opportunities, etc through prayers and spiritual warfare. Whatever God has given you is a target of the enemy, and God says, guard what you have received.

When things get better in your life, intensify your prayers. Don’t relax because you have received a harvest; don’t stop praying because previous prayers have been answered; don’t allow the celebration of your harvest make you forget to be on guard. Guard every good thing that God has given you.

John 10 vs. 10 exposes the enemy’s agenda: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”

An unguarded harvest will be lost to the enemy, sooner than later. Don’t wait to lose your harvest before you protect it in prayers. Guard your harvest; guard your increase.

Pray With Me:

Lord, I will guard my harvest; I won’t lose my increase, in Jesus’ name!
