FOCUS: FIGHT THE BATTLE OF THE CHURCH OH GOD
PSALM 35 VS 1 – 7
1. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
2. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
3. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
4. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
5. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
6. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
7. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
NOTE – To plead is to present an argument, especially in a legal case.
To beg, beseech, or implore.
To strive is to try to achieve a result. To make strenuous effort. To try earnestly and persistently. To struggle in opposition.
To Fight is to contend in physical conflict, either as individual or in a war, battle. To campaign or contend for success. To engage in combat with or to oppose physically, to contest with.
To Persecute means to treat somebody in a cruel and unfair way, especially because of their race, religion or political reason.
Cruel means having a desire to cause pain and suffering.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, you are the God of mercy, by your mercy O God Plead the cause of Living Faith Foundation Globally and the Church in Nigeria, O LORD, with them that strive with us in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, arise in your anger and begin to fight against them that are fighting against the Living Faith Foundation and the Church in Nigeria in Jesus name.
3. Father, Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that are persecuting the Living Faith Foundation and the Church in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek to stop the progress of the Living Faith Foundation and the Church in Nigeria in Jesus name.
5. My Father, my Shield, let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt in the name of Jesus Christ.
