The Word of God says in Numbers 6:24-26 that may the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you, when God’s countenance shines on you, men will not only be attracted to you for good but will be compelled to favor you, this is because the glory of God upon a man is a force that cannot be hidden nor ignored.
Also, when God’s favor shines upon you, even your adversaries will be left confused as to why you’re different from them and why you’re radiating God’s glory.
God’s favor is a powerful force needed by everyone on earth, interestingly, as a believer you stand a better chance of obtaining God’s favor, so long you do not intend to use it against anyone but simply to advance in life and to bring God glory (Isaiah 43:21)
There are lots of people in the bible who obtained God’s favor without labor, as a matter of fact, God’s favor shone upon them with not much effort, for example, Queen Esther only showed up for the beauty contest in the palace and she became queen.
When she and other contestants showed up before the King, she found favor in the sight of the King which made him choose her over the other virgins, (Esther 2:17) interestingly, even before then, Esther first found favor before the Eunuch in the palace, it was the Eunuch who advised her on how to look in order to gain the king’s attention, and eventually she became the queen (Esther 2:15).
Solomon is another person who obtained favor from God, though he was born through the iniquity of His Father, and naturally wasn’t supposed to be the heir to the throne, because there were more qualified sons, but because God showed him and his mother favor, all events favored him to be the next king after David, and not only did his father endorse him but God also approved of him by accepting his sacrifice and giving him that which many kings didn’t have; divine wisdom, it was further recorded that Solomon enjoyed rest on every side during his tenure (1 Kings 1:1-2-19)
So you see, divine favor is a powerful force capable of taking you to heights you can never imagine, and powerful enough to transform your life.
