Psalm 92:1-4
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, And to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; Upon the harp with a solemn sound.
Thanksgiving is an act of expressing gratitude to God, for His unfailing mercies and faithfulness towards us, indeed God has been faithful and He is truly deserving of all thanks we can offer.
The Psalmist said in Psalm 136:1-2 “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever”.
God is truly deserving of all our worship and praise because His goodness is evident all around us (Matthew 5:45), even to the undeserving, God showcases His love (while we were yet sinners)
This and many more are reasons why we must not withold our gratitude to God.
As a matter of fact, thanksgiving shouldn’t be something we do periodically, rather it should be something we do everyday, because that is one of the many ways we can prove to God that we see His works, appreciate His love and that we are His grateful children.
You may be wondering how do I engage in thanksgiving? You can give thanks by singing praises to God (Exodus 15:1), reminding Him of the times He had showed up for you when all hope was lost, you can also practice gratitude to God through dancing just like King David did( 2 Samuel 6:14)

32. Lord I thank you for doing that which no one can do in my life and in my family

35. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly place
36. I am grateful Lord for my sanity for it is a rare gift that many do not have

38. Lord I am grateful for all that you have done for me and my loved ones
