“FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS
&
FORGET NOT HIS PROMISES”

REFLECTIONS
———————–
The Commandments/ Instructions of The Lord are usually Advisories of Actions to be taken by His Children.

Today, we dwell on some of the Instances of God’s instructions that are “DO NOTs”

1. “Forget NOT”
2. “Stagger NOT”
3. “Meddle NOT”

Reflection 1
——————-
“FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS”
(Psalms 103:1-5)

As Moses reminded Israel of the GOODNESS of God, we also need to REMEMBER His Benefits:

GOD’s BENEFITS TO ISRAEL

According to Deuteronomy 2:7
“For the Lord your God has blessed you in ALL the work on your hand…..These FORTY YEARS the Lord your God has been with you: YOU HAVE LACKED NOTHING”

Today, we also REMBER THE BENEFITS to us:

1. Forgiving ALL iniquities
2.Healing ALL diseases
3. Redeeming from destruction
4. Tender Mercies & Kindness
5. Satisfying with GOOD Things.
(Psalms 103:1-5)

Our Song remains:
“Bless the Lord, O my Soul ..Forget NOT all His Benefits”

Reflection 2
——————–
“STAGGER NOT”
Romans 4:20-21
Deuteronomy 2:14-15

Deuteronomy 2: 14-15 recorded that the time Isareal took to cross from Kadesh Barnea until the valley of the Zered was 38years until ALL THE GENERATION of the men of war was consumed”

Israel wondered in the Wilderness for 40 years because of Unbelief!

The Bible testified of Abraham that “He Staggered Not at the promise of God through unbelief”
(Romans 4:20-21)
Brethren, we should NOT stagger at the Promises of Jehovah.

“Let us hold fast the Confession of our HOPE without wavering, for He who promised is Faithful.
(Hebrews 10:23)

Reflection 3
——————–
“MEDDLE NOT”
Deuteronomy 2:18

The Lord instructed the people of Isreal as follows “DO NOT HARASS THEM
(The People of Ammon) OR MEDDLE WITH THEM”

Brethren, The Lord has the Prerogative to SET BOUNDARIES for us for good reasons!

It is CRITICAL to obey these instructions even when the REASONS are not fully understood!!

After all, we are admonished according to 2 Corinthians 6:14 ,
“DO NOT BE UNEQUALLY YOKED TOGETHER WITH UNBELIEVERS”.

For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

May the Lord help us to align our destinies with Divinely Assigned Helpers. Amen.
