LESSONS LEARNT FROM EXODUS 13.
1. God is pleased when we His people celebrate the victory He has given us!
2. God instructed Moses to tell the people to separate every first born both of man and animal for Himself. This is done in remembrance of what God did to Pharaoh in Egypt by killing all his first born. God is happy when we give Him thanks and do a remembrance of our past victories! He commanded Moses to observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread from generations to generations.
3. God deserves the first place in our lives that’s why He asked that every first child belongs to Him. He says if you don’t redeem it you should break its neck. Do you want to break the neck of your child or even your animal? If no, then give them to God!
4. Brethren, let’s always have reasons to rejoice before the Lord!
Everyday is an opportunity to remember God’s goodness and celebrate the victory! THANKSGIVING!
Let’s always go before the Lord with the heart of gratitude and rejoice before the Lord and thank Him for His faithfulness and for always being there for us!
Prayers:
Father, thank you for the gift of life and for everything you have done for us in jesus christ’s mighty name! amen!
