THOUGHTS ON GENESIS CHAPTER 28.
1. To confirm that the spiritual is the mother of the physical, look at the blessing that Isaac blessed Jacob in the previous chapter is being played out here.
Right from the womb God has already chosen Jacob to be the carrier of the generational blessing..
The Spirit of error has already started operating in the life of Esau. He disob
[1/29, 07:58] Mummy Bez Olanrinsoye: He disobeyed his parents by marrying the Canaanities daughters. When he saw that Jacob obeyed his parents by going to Padanaram to take a wife, Esau went to take a wife from the daughters of Ishmael.
2. In Verse 12, Jacob had an encounter with God in a dream and in Verse 19, he built an altar in the place of his encounter and called it Bethel.
3. The lives of Esau and Jacob is a great lesson to all of us in the case of the fulfilment of Prophecy. No matter what happens, God’s will will come to pass in our lives! Everyone has a purpose in this world to fulfil.
