Our focus is The Book of Leviticus Chapter 23 which tells of “HOLY TIMES” established by the Lord; the Sabbath, The Passover and the Feast of Weeks.
Our Focus however will be Leviticus 23:22
“When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God”

1. Horizontal Relations Matters to God !
As we worship Jehovah VERTICALLY, He is CATEGORICAL about our acts of CHARITY to men – The HORIZONTAL dimensions of our Christian activities
The Example in the Book Ruth 2:7-14, typified the application of this principle,whereby Ruth through the permission of her mother in law gained access to the field of Boaz and eventually to the History Books!

Giving pervades Both Testaments!!
In the new Testament, the Principle and Practice of Giving is also accorded PROMINENCE by the Apostles :
Galatians 6:10
“As we have therefore opportunity let us do good unto all men, ESPECIALLY unto them who are of the household of Faith”

1 John 3:17-18
” But whoever has this world ‘s goodsand sees his brother in need and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and truth.

God Rewards Givers!!!
According to Proverbs 19:17, “Whoever is kind to the Poor lends to the Lord,and he will reward them for what they have done.
Hebrews 6 :10
For God is Not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love which ye have shewed towards his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister”
PRAYER POINTS.
1. Father, we thank you for gift of Jesus and for teaching us that love is demonstrated through GIVING & ACTIONS.
2. Father help us to love the Brethren Not Only in Words or Tongue But in deed.
3. We thank you for the opportunity to minister to the saints, thereby qualifying for your Blessings and Rewards.
Help us to be steadfast and Consistent In Jesus Name
