Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Have you been wondering why so much emphasis is often made on having faith in God? Have you ever made a request and you’ve been told that only God can grant your request? You need to read through these reasons why you must have faith in God.
The interesting thing is, your faith in God is a pathway to so many good things that God has in store for you, and the devil understands this, that is why he has filled up your heart with lots of doubt, evil imagination and anger as against having faith in God, my prayer is that as you read through these reasons to have faith in God, the Lord will open your eyes and heart to see his plans for you in Jesus name.
Why you should have faith in God?
01. He Knows All Things
Nothing ever happens without the knowledge of God, He sees beyond the present and looks deep into our future, when He allows a thing to happen, it is mostly for our good as scriptures says in Romans 8:28 – “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
He is the omniscient one, and so He’s ever present and aware of all that is happening in your life and in the world around us. Have you ever felt lonely and abandoned? It’s because you are not aware of God’s omniscient capacity, every word we speak, everything we do is never without His knowledge, scripture even says in psalm 46 that He is our present help in times of need, and one of His mighty names; Jehovah Shammah means the Lord is there, i.e He is ever present. So you need to have faith in God for He knows absolutely all things including your most urgent needs and desires.
02. He Has Never Failed Before:
God can never fail, the people of the world may promise and fail but our God is an ever faithful God, His word says in Jeremiah 23:19 that
“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” So if He has promised a thing He will surely do it.
The only reason you may want to think that God has failed you is if you are working by your own date, for instance, you may be thinking and praying that you want to get married before your 27th birthday, and it’s not happening, in this case you must trust God still, and be aware that His ways are different from ours, He has the ultimate plan, He know what’s best for us, His word says: as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways and thoughts higher than ours. Isaiah 55:9”
So you really have need of patience, you must be willing to wait, God will never fail you but are you willing to wait for Him to do the best in accordance with His purpose for you?
From the days of old, He has never failed and He will never fail, for He is the same God yesterday, today and forever, if He could still bless Sarah and Father Abraham with children at their old ages, definitely He can make all your expectations come to pass in accordance with His will and timing for you. You need to have Faith in God for He never fails.
03. Nothing Is Impossible With God:
Are you trusting God to provide for you or to heal your loved ones? There is absolutely nothing impossible with our God, He is able to provide all we need to us and He is able to answer all our prayers that are in accordance with His will and timing for our lives, there can be no situation so difficult for God to handle, so whatever you are looking unto God for, you must have faith because it is by your Faith that you can have access to the supernatural power of God, it is by Faith that you can pray and believe that God has heard, you really need to have Faith in God regarding all your heart desires because nothing is impossible with God.
04. We Can’t Be Acceptable To Him Without Faith:
Scripture explains that it is impossible to please God without Faith (Hebrews 11:16), And so it is, to be able to please God, you need Faith, because God is a spirit that is, a supernatural being that can not be seen with the physical eyes, so to serve him and obey him in all your ways you need to first of all have Faith in Him, and believe that He exists, He is alive and can hear you daily. To be able to please God, you need Faith.
05. It Is By Faith We Can Obtain Our Miracles:
There’s no other better way to obtain miracles, you must have faith, that God is able to do the unimaginable in your life and family, it is this faith in you that will then move you to pray, study the Word and fast, believing that God is alive to see all your works and to hear all your prayers, Scripture says if you have faith as little as mustard seed, you can command move mountains (Mathew 17:20) . So do you desire a miracle? You need to have faith in God.
06. Our Faith In God Guarantees Us Victory Over The World
Do you need victory in any area of your life? Have Faith in God. Our Faith in God is a sure guarantee of victory over sickness, diseases and all other troubles in the World.
The Scriptures tell us in 1 John 5:4 “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith” This clearly means that it is through our Faith in God that we can overcome the World, and the World here stands for all the temptations, trials, challenges and difficulties we will ever face in career, academics, finances, and in our spiritual lives.
Therefore, Faith in God is a prerequisite to accessing all of the promises, blessings, privileges etc that are in God.

Matthew 17:20 “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
John 7:38 “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
John 6:35 “Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Ephesians 3:16-17 “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love …”
Galatians 2:16 “Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.”
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
1 Peter 1:21 “Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Matthew 14: 29-31 “Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’”
Matthew 21:21 “Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”
Having Faith in God is quite important for everyone who desires to please God and do His will, or for anyone who desires to experience genuine miracles in any area of their lives, o be triumphant in all areas of their life, you need faith in God.

- Lord, I thank you for your mercy upon my life, I return all glory to you in Jesus name
- Father in all ways I have lost faith in you due to the trials I have faced in times past, please forgive me and help me to be restored in Jesus name
- Oh Lord I receive a new revelation of you that my faith may be renewed in you, in Jesus’ name
- Oh Lord please help to store up your Word in my heart daily so that I may be able to stand firm in faith in times of trials in Jesus’ powerful name
