1. We can sustain the presence of God by constant fellowship. Constant dwelling in the secret place, d place of fellowship. Psalm 91 :1 says He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty ( His shadow is His presence).
2. The mercy of God never expires over any man, even over unbelievers and that is why He brings rain over the righteous and the wicked. The reason is because Lamentation 3.22-23 says, the Steadfast love of the Lord never cease, His mercies never come to an end, for they are new every morning. So as far as a man is still sleeping and waking up, there are new mercies waiting for him. God’s mercy expires when a man dies. For it is appointed unto a man once to die and after that is judgement.
