2 Corinthians 10:4-6 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled”
Do you know that we all came into the church this day (and move around always) with weaponry that are capable of changing the situation of things? As believers we are indeed loaded!
You may be wondering now,
Why does God decide to load us with such weaponry?
I’ve come to understand that God doesn’t waste resources, this shows clearly in the parable of talents as recorded in Matthew 25:14-30
God loaded us with weaponry because we are at war, as soon as we enter into the kingdom of God (by been born again John 3:3, John 3:16), the war begins.
Once you give your life to Christ you get enlisted into the Lord’s Army.
What’s The Battle We’re Fighting?
It’s a battle for the hearts and souls of men, bible says God is reconciling all things to himself and He has committed unto us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18)
The essence of our battle is to rescue souls from the hands of their captives i.e win souls for Christ (Proverbs 11:30).
When you want to fight wars, you have to fight strategically, you don’t just jump into battles, so your strategy and approach matters a lot.
We are meant to recruit souls for Christ, and put them into training so that after been trained, they also can go out to rescue others through evangelism.

In conclusion,
How do we develop skills in weapon fighting?
Spend time in prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17),in Word study (2 Timothy 2:15) in worship and praise (Psalm 100).
You must be able to preach the gospel message; the pure gospel not denomination nor ideologies tell people that the sinner will be judged (Hebrews 9;27) tell them the ransom has been paid (John 5:24)
