This day i should be speaking on the blessings of the First, but importantly I want to address the clogs that may hinder you from getting blessed in this year 2024.
In removing the clogs the first thing you are going to do today is to stop living a false life, we will be praying about it also, I have discovered that many of us Africans or Nigerians are living false lives so I caption this: ” Do not live a lie or die a liar”
Many of us don’t tell straight lies but we actually act it, in Luke 12:1, the Lord Jesus Christ said something crucial to His disciples. Let’s take a look
Luke 12:1- “In the meantime when an innumerable number of people had gathered to together, so much that they trampled one another, then He began to say to His disciples: “first of all beware of the leaven of the pharisees which is hypocrisy”.
So I went to check the books to get a summary and explanation of what hypocrisy is, it is pretending to be who you are really not, pretending to be doing what you are actually not doing, it is pretending to put up a front of a false image of your true person while appearing to be who you are not, it involves deception, living a lie or acting a lie.
Now you need to ask yourself, “if people check me at home, in the office and in church, will they find the same person? Or will they find same person in the office and at home but a different person in church?
There are some of us that have two personalities, three personalities even, there’s one we have at work, another at home, and there is the one we have in church, and because of this, you don’t want someone from the church to come to the house so that he doesn’t see the person at home, neither do you want the person from church to come to your workplace because they will see a different person, and truly some of us don’t want people from the house to come to our workplace because who they will see at work is different completely from who they will see at home.
So if we take three people, one from the church, one from the house and one from the workplace, each of them will have completely different stories to tell of the same person.
Just because the person has perfected living as different personalities in church, at work and in the home.
I pray for you today that in the name of Jesus Christ, you shall appear as the same person everywhere.
The pharisees were religious leaders who preached to people to believe and do what they really do not believe or do, this attitude was defined by the Lord Jesus as the leaven of the pharisees,they were hypocrites who said one thing yet did another thing, they taught people to do what they did not do, they projected a false life publicly.
Prayer:
Father I receive the grace to be the same person everywhere in Jesus mighty name.
