“And he arose, and went into the house, and he poured the oil on his head…” (2 Kings 9: 6).
In our Focal Scripture, Jehu was taken into an inner room and was anointed with oil. Exodus 30 vs. 22-25 lists the components of the anointing oil, among which is:; one of those ingredients is ‘Cinnamon’. Cinnamon is used as a sweetener. So Jehu received an anointing that sweetened his life. He got an anointing that made his destiny tasty. He received an anointing that would attract sweet things.
Friend, if you have received Jesus into your life, hear this: the anointing of God has sweetened your life already. Sweet things will happen in your destiny; sweet things will come your way; sweet testimonies will be your portion; God will load you with good news; God will introduce sweetness to your life, family, career, business, health, finances, etc.
When God makes you sweet, you will remain sweet, no matter what is happening around you.
When something is sweet, everyone is attracted to it. God says, because your destiny has been sweetened, your generation will run to you, clients will run to your business, your ideas and services will be highly sought after, and your testimonies will cause joy and gladness to flow in abundance.
Because you have been sweetened, bitterness and pain have no more room in your life; the bad news is no longer your portion; you shall not mourn; you will not shed tears of pain; you will not dwell in sadness. When sad people come your way, they will contact joy.
The anointing of God comes through the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God in you, and your life shall remain eternally sweetened.
Pray With Me:
Lord, I have the sweetening anointing; I am eternally sweetened, in Jesus’ name!
