And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2: 7).
In our Focal Scripture, God formed man. The man who would later have dominion over the rest of God’s creation was first formed by God; the man who would later rule over the universe and replicate himself from generation to generation, was first formed by God. The dominion of man did not happen until God formed man.
Friend, if you desire to rule your generation, God needs to form you in the right stature He desires for you; if you desire to become all that God has destined you to be, He needs to beat you into the right shape that will fit His destiny design for you; if you desire to fulfill your potentials and potentialities, God necessarily needs to mold you into that person He wants you to be.
The man that God formed was to live for God’s expectations. If you still have difficulty living within the confines of God’s expectations, God needs to form you again. If your character is not in line with God’s agenda for your life, ask God to form you to be what He wants you to be. If any part of your life is contrary to God’s image and likeness, ask God to reform you.
Ask God to rescue you. Ask God to form a good character in you; ask God to give you a clean heart devoid of sin; ask God to give you a heart that fears and honours Him; ask God to remove everything in you that is contrary to His expectations; ask God to make you who He wants you to be.
If God forms you in His image, be sure that you will rule over your generation.
Isaiah 64 vs. 8 sums it up this way: “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”
Pray With Me:
Lord, form me in Your image and after Your likeness; make me who You want me to be, in Jesus’ name!.
