Ephesians 1:3-10

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him”

Today I am talking about rejoicing evermore, 1 thessalonians 5:16, says rejoice evermore, what does it mean to rejoice evermore?

If we don’t know the purpose of God concerning man there will be no joy, even Christianity will be a thing of endurance

You will endure Christianity, instead of enjoying it if you don’t have Joy, I saw that statement “joy of the lord” as one of the things that is missing in Christiandom, Christians no longer serve God with joyfulness of hearts, with gladness of heart but this is the, first experience when you confess Jesus Christ as your lord and savior

One of the things Christ released to you the day you gave your life to him was the joy of the Lord.

Who was rejoicing? The new spirit that He gave you was the one rejoicing

When you have the joy of the Lord you will be eager to do the things of God when you have the joy of the Lord you will be eager to make sacrifices and to serve in the household of God.

The Bible says the devil has come to kill to steal and to destroy, one of the things that the devil almost took away from the church is the joy of the Lord

When the psalmist lost it he cried out in Psalm 51 , he said:  restore to me the joy of my salvation

The joy of the Lord was given to every man at the instance of salvation

Our reading this morning was taken from Ephesians 1 verse 3

Blessed be the lord God of our father Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus according as he has chosen us, in him before the foundation of the world,

God has chosen us before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and be blameless.

And having predestinated us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will

He predestinated us, He purposed us, He shapened us this is God’s intention for man

You should not look at yourself and say horrible things about God, rather be aware that before the foundation of the world God designed man to be filled with joy.

God created you in his own image and His likeness know this today, you’ve been predestinated unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good  pleasure of his will.

So what could the situation be, that wants to take away your joy? You must not allow it, ensure to hold on to God even in difficult season.
