Today, we study the Book of Psalms Chapter Sixty Nine – A Psalm of David depicted as “URGENT PLEA FOR HELP IN TROUBLE”

Reflection
“Zeal Leaves Comfort Zones”
Many were martyred for the sake of the Kingdom such as John the Baptist, Deacon Stephen and Apostle James.
THESE MEN LEFT THEIR COMFORT ZONES & PAID THE MAXIMUM!
ZEAL, ENTHUSIASM & PASSION are desirable Attitudes for Kingdom Service.
In the Second Book of John, The Lord Jesus drove out the Money Changers from the Temple and declared :”Take these things away! Do Not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”
Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE HAS EATEN ME UP”
(John 2:17)
The Disciples referred to Psalms 69:9!
PERILOUS TIMES
These are “THE LAST DAYS & PERILOUS TIMES” that the Bible predicted when “TRAITORS & LOVERS OF PLEASURE will manifest” (2 Tim 3 1- 3)
Many Men & Women are still taking great Risks for The Kingdom such as:
1. DAVID risked his life to fight Goliath asking:” IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?”
(1 Samuel 17: 28-30)
2. QUEEN ESTHER risked her life declaring “IF I PERISH, I PERISH”
(Esther 4:16)
3. THE THREE HEBREWS BOYS submitted to be thrown into the Furnace
(Daniel 3:17-18)
4. JESUS! JESUS!! JESUS!!!
The Bible recorded that Jesus made Himself of no reputation, humbled Himself and died (ON TBE CROSS) for us ALL (Philippians 2: 5-8)
Indeed, “GOD made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him”(2 Corinthians 5:21)
What a Sacrifice – Jesus left His Glory in the Heavens to the SHAME on the Cross.
Our Response
Brethren, the sacrifice of JESUS MUST NOT BE IN VAIN.
We have to step up and serve HIM FAITHFULLY.
As we step up in ZEAL, it MUST be according to KNOWLEDGE.
Therefore, let us “PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS”
(Philippians 3:14)
In this Race for The Kingdom, NO GREE FOR Satan & HIS AGENTS!!!
