1 Corinthians 9:24 “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain”.
Are you often struggling to make ends meet? Is your labor greater than the reward you receive? Are you seldomly appreciated for your efforts and skills? Are you always seeing yourself gathering in your dreams, and another person coming to scatter your work?
If any of the above is true about you, you need to pray against the spirit of labor without result, read through this article, ensure to say the prayers in it fervently, and your miracle shall be speedy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
It is sad to know that many are laboring so hard but are not seeing the fruit, many are working like elephants but are eating like ants, they gather yet the devil scatters, and it looks like they are not working (John 10:10)
The church is also laboring in fasting and prayers yet the results are not showing, is it the will of God for us to labor and not eat the fruit? This is what I will be addressing today.
Apostle Paul in Hebrews 4:9-11says: “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief”.
Rest means to cease from labour, the Bible says you need to work in order to receive rest.
My prayer for you this day is, may you not be doing hard labor when you are supposed to be resting in Jesus mighty name
Take for instance, an old man of 70 years who is out on the street hawking fish, is laboring when he’s supposed to be resting, and that’s not supposed to be, may that not be your portion in Jesus mighty name
Why Are We Laboring When We Ought To Be Resting?
This is because our labour is in vain, many labor so much without result.
it is a curse when you do not eat of the labour of your hands, in fact, failure to eat from the labour of your hands is an affliction and I pray for you this day, it shall not happen to you again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
What can you do to get blessed so you can rest from your labor?
According to Psalm 128, the bible says Blessed is the man that fears the Lord, in clear terms, the fear of God is the prerequisite of been blessed.
You are meant to be a carrier of the divine blessings of God, not a carrier of affliction, verse 3 of Psalm 128 says: “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”
This day, the power you need to enjoy the fruit of your labor is delivered to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
Criteria For Eating Of The Fruit Of Your Labor
1. You Must Be Born Again:
To enjoy the divine blessings of God, you must first give your life to Christ and be in right standing with God(i.e live a holy life committed to doing the will of God)
2. Pray Always:
For some people, the reason why they are not eating the fruit of their labor is because there’s a curse on their lives, if you have noticed that no matter how much you work for people, they don’t appreciate you, or they give the reward of your labor to another person, then you need to pray aggressively against every curse of fruitless labor placed upon you.
Also, to receive the divine blessings of God and to eat the fruit of your labor, you must make praying part of your lifestyle, this is why the bible encourages us to pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17
3. Your Work Must Be Of High Quality:
Your standard must be that of excellence, whatever product or service you are offering, ensure you give the very best, and you will find people trooping into your store or office as the case may be.
4. Be Diligent:
Proverbs 22:29 makes it clear, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”, Diligence is a key to receiving unending favor and blessings from God and man .
5. Be Faithful:
Luke 16:10 “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much“, Do you desire to be blessed and have greater rewards for your works? Ensure to be faithful with whatever is committed into your hands, no matter how small, from there greater opportunities will come your way in Jesus mighty name!
6. Don’t Quit:
Yes! Do not quit working until you are done
Prayer:
1. Father I command every spirit hindering me from getting commensurate reward for my labor to expire now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
2. Every spirit of rejection working against me, expire now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
3. I shall know what to do and when to do it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
4. I receive grace to spend my time wisely in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
5. I decree that my reward and results shall be far greater than my efforts and labor in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
