John 1:1-5
1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
This day I will be speaking to you on the topic: Turning the Word of God into Miracles, but before then I would love to highlight the nature of God’s Word, before you can turn the Word of God into Miracles, you need to have an understanding of what the nature of God’s Word is.
Just as you must first understand a man before you can utilize such person well you must also understand the nature of God’s Word to get your desired result.
What’s the nature of God’s Word? There are phases of God’s Word
1. There is The living Word of God, it is the Word of God personified, and His name is Jesus, as scripture says in John; the Word became flesh (John 1:14)
So in the beginning before there was a beginning that began in Genesis 1, there has always existed the Word of God, and His name is Jesus. He is the living Word of God.
2. Also there is The Spoken Word Of God; it is called Rhema, Peter said in 2 Peter 1:18 “we heard His voice from heaven”. The spoken Word of God is what i decree into your life today, God’s Word shall address every situation of your life in Jesus name.
The Word of God is God and when you are talking about God, you are talking about the almighty, the all knowing, He has all knowledge, there is nothing he doesn’t know, He knows the end from the beginning, He called Peter Cephas even before he became his disciple, (John 1:42) and on meeting Nathaniel for the first time, Christ proved His power to him by giving Nathaniel a true summary of Nathaniel’s personality (John 1:47).
God is present everywhere and He knows our thought.
3. The Word of God is also life, so when the Word of God gets to anywhere there is death, it swallows death in victory. Remember Christ told Mary and Martha I am the resurrection and life, hence, wherever the Word of God is, there is life (John 11:25)
4. The Word of God is Spirit: the Words that I speak to you they are spirit and life (John 3:6-15)
The Word of God has life and it is powerful, wherever it sees obstacles, it knocks it off.
5. The Word Of God Is A Performer, wherever the Word is sent, it performs (Isaiah 55:11)
Luke 1:45 blessed is he that believes for there shall be a performance
Hebrews 4:12 the word of God is quick and powerful
6. The Word Of God Has Power To Create,
When God wants to create something he uses His Word, just like a potter uses clay, a good example of this is when there was siege and famine in Samaria (2 kings 7:1-2), the prophet declared that there would be a total turn around and surplus the next day, though it seemed impossible, but God made it happen miraculously.
God calls forth and brings it to reality
7. The Word Of God Protects, just as God gave the instruction to the children of Israel to put the blood on their lintel, and they were protected in Egypt from the spirit of death (Exodus 12:7)
Are you aware that The integrity of God is the integrity of His Word
The Word of God is the truth, the doctor may say you have cancer or diabetes but the truth is the Word of God that says by the stripes of Christ you are healed (Isaiah 53:5)
John 8:36 says you shall know the truth and it shall set you free, the truth is the Word of God and it is able to set you free from all negativities.
Therefore you can be at peace because God is for you, casting all your cares upon Him,( 1 Peter 5:7), God cannot fail you, He is dependable and reliable.
The Word of God is eternal, that negativity in your life had a starting date therefore it expires now in Jesus name.
The Word of God is eternal, It remains true always, regardless of space time and distance. It is eternally valid.
So, if the Word of God is this reliable, how can i turn it into miracle?
Mark 11:23- “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.
The bible in Mark 11:23 clearly answers this question. It says: If you say to the mountain, be though removed and do not doubt in your heart, you shall have what you say.
Therefore the matter of the heart is the heart of the matter! if you can get the Word of God into your heart, and if you can fix your heart on God’s Word, you can get all the miracles you desire according to the will of God.
You must believe what you have read in the Word of God in order to make it work for you.
Until the Word you hear settles in your heart light may not come, remember the entrance of God’s Word gives light and understanding (Psalm 119:130).
The Word of God must settle in your heart!
Know this, the fact that things are not working doesn’t mean it is not God, your challenges are only avenues to experience the power of God.
There is a story of one man who married in a city and after his wedding God told him to move into another city to start his life over there, though he was a pastor, he handed over the church to someone and moved into the city God told him to relocate into with his wife, when he got there, the little funds they had couldn’t sustain them anymore, it seemed as though there was no way for them to survive, one day, the new bride was in the room crying, then the man went into the room to cry out his heart to God in prayers.
While he was praying, God gave him a unique instruction to carry out in order to sustain his family, though it was tough for them to do initially, but as they carried out the instruction, God showed up for them by sending an helper who paid for all the groceries they shopped for in faith.
There are several occasions when God has showed up for me and my loved ones even when the situation looked hopeless.
There is absolutely nothing impossible for our God to do, He is able to show up even in impossible situations, you only need to believe the Word and always declare it with faith.
Just as God did it for Joseph suddenly so shall it be for you, when the Lord shall turn again your captivity you will be like them that dream(Psalm 126)
- That miracle that will happen suddenly that will make you shout for joy shall happen this week, in Jesus name
- When you offer God praise in the midst of unpleasant situation it is called sacrificial praise.
Prayers:
1. I receive my healing by the power in the name of Jesus Christ
2. I receive my breakthrough in Jesus name
3. I receive open doors in Jesus mighty name
4. I receive miraculous supplies by the power in the name of Jesus Christ
5. Evil shall pass over me and my family in Jesus name
6. I am free from negativity in my health, finance, marriage and career in Jesus name
