KEY SCRIPTURE

Deuteronomy 23:14

For The Lord thy God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you,and turn away from you”

REFLECTIONS

1. Lord, you are welcome in my Camp!

2. I will pay my Vows to The Lord

Reflection 1

“LORD, YOU ARE WELCOME IN MY CAMP”

Deuteronomy 23:14

According to the records Deuteronomy 23:14 and Genesis 3:8, The Lord Jehovah desires to fellowship/visit/tabernacle with Man!

However, to facilitate this FELLOWSHIP & consistently attract His Presence, Some Actions are abominations to The Lord!

Apart from physical Hygiene Requirements in Levuticus 15, the Proverbs 6 : 16-19, also advises the Believer to watch out for the following THINGS that the Lord hates:

1. A proud look

2. A lying tongue

3. Blood shed

4. Wicked Hearts

5. Evil Acts

6. False witnesses

7. Sowers of Discord among brethren

Indeed, Levitivus 15:31 instructed that, ” you must keep Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so that they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place, which is among them.

May The Lord help us All.

Reflection 2

KEEPING VOWS TO THE LORD

Deuteronomy 23:21

“When you make a vow to the Lord uour God, you shall not delay to pay it; for the Lord your will surely require it of you and it would be sin to you”

A vow is a sacrifice and promise to God – The good news is that God is Always Faithful and He keeps His Promises.

We have that GUARANTEE that Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.

(Psalms 126:5-6)

BEWARE

It is better Not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it (Ecclesiastes 5:5)

Prayers

1. TO BE CAREFUL & PURE

Father we pray that you strengthen us to be careful and pure to attract your presence Always.

2. GRACE TO BE FAITHFUL

May God help us to remain Faithful and engrace us to keep our Promises and Vows.

Amen & Amen
