A Reflection On Revelation 19
Theme
The King is Coming soon and in Victory, Live ready. Stay faithful.
Scripture Focus:
“He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”
(Revelation 19:11)
My Thoughts
Revelation 19 gives us a powerful picture of heaven in celebration and Christ in victory. After all the turmoil, judgment, and suffering described in earlier chapters, this moment shines with hope—
It is not just the chapters before, even the current turmoil all over the World and in our great country, Nigeria!
_Jesus Christ returns as the conquering King._ This is super comforting..
ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA!
He is called Faithful and True. This reminds us that no matter what we face, Jesus keeps His promises. Even when situations seem delayed or unclear, He is never late. His truth stands firm, and His justice will prevail.
ALLELUIA!
We also see the marriage supper of the Lamb, where the Church is presented as a prepared bride. This is a call to us as believers—not just to wait, but to live ready. Our daily choices, our walk in righteousness, and our devotion to God matter. We are being prepared for something eternal and glorious.
Therefore we must “ Worship God!” This is a reminder to keep our focus right. In a world full of distractions, achievements, and even spiritual experiences, God alone deserves our worship.
Finally, we see Jesus riding on a white horse, leading the armies of heaven. This is not the humble Savior riding into Jerusalem—this is the King of kings and Lord of lords, returning in power. And with Him, evil is defeated completely.
What does this mean for us today?
It means we don’t live in fear—we live in hope. No matter how dark things may look around us, victory is already assured in Christ.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You because You are Faithful and True. Help me to live ready, with a heart that honors You daily. Keep my focus on You alone, and strengthen my faith as I wait for Your return. Let my life reflect Your righteousness and truth. Amen.
THOUGHTS ON REVELATION 20
THEME: FINAL VICTORY
MAIN VERSE
Revelation 20:12
And the dead were judged… according to their works
Supporting Verses
Daniel 12:2
Some to everlasting life, some to shame
Ecclesiastes 12:14
GOD will bring every work into judgment
John 5:28–29
Resurrection of life and judgment
Romans 14:12
Each will give account to GOD
This chapter continues with revelations of the end of times, thereby encouraging us to be vigilant and endure until the end.
The revelation can be divided into 6 parts
1. Satan Bound (vv1–3)
Satan will be chained for 1000 years. Meaning that the one causing chaos now will be completely restrained. years.Just one angel will do that. This makes to know for sure that evil is not eternal — GOD has always been in control.
2. The Reign of the Saints (vv4–6)
Those who have stood faithful with CHRIST in matrydom will reign with HIM for the 1000 years, satan will be bound. Again, making us realize that suffering is not the end for the faithful christians. Faithfulness will definitely be rewarded
3. Final Rebellion (vv7–10)
After the 1000 years of keeping the devil bound, he will be released, and he will yet deceive people all over again as his nature is. It is worrisome that even after the 1000 years of peace, many will still choose to be deceived. This shows that the real problem is not the environment( peace or not), but the heart of man
4. Final end of the devil
Satan is cast into the lake of fire, along with the beast and false prophets— forever.
5. The Great White Throne Judgment (vv11–15)
Books are opened.
– The Book of Life
– The record of works
This contains all the records of every human being. So,
– No hiding
– No excuses
– No status advantage
Everyone stands personally before GOD
6. The Final Separation
From records of everyone’s lifetime activities, those whose names appear in the Book of Life
– Gets eternal life
Those whose names do not appear in the book of life
– are cast into the lake of fire
This judgement is the ultimate, irreversible decision that every human being that ever lived will get
Takeaway
Know for sure that:
– Evil will end
– Judgment is certain
– Eternity is real
– GOD has always been in control
Life is not just happening. It is heading …somewhere.
Prayer Point
LORD,
1. help me live with eternity in view.
2. Keep my name in the Book of Life.
3. Give me grace to remain faithful till the end.
4. Let my life count for what truly matters.
5. Grant your church the grace to preach to men to repent and escape eternal judgement
In the mighty name of JESUS, I pray, Amen🙏🏿

REFLECTIONS ON REVELATIONS 22
Key Scripture
(Revelations 22:12)
“And behold I am coming quickly and My REWARD with Me, to give EVERYONE ACCORDING TO HIS WORK”
(Revelation 22:12)
REFLECTIONS
“REWARDS FROM THE LORD”
SOWING & REAPING
In the course of studying the Bible, an Important TRUTH is the Law of Sowing and Reaping.
“God is not mocked: Whatsoever a man sows, that he shsll also reap” (Gal. 6:7)
As sure as dawn, the Lord promised His Reward in Revelations 22:12.
The following are direct and indirect “REWARDS” for Man/Woman from the “Cradle” to the “FINAL JUDGMENT”
SONS OF GOD
“All that received Him, receive the Power to become sons of God”
(John 1:12)
What a Privilege!
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Gift of the Holy Spirit is restricted to believers! (Acts 2:38)
BENEFITS
Indeed, there are Blessings and Benefits reserved for those who serve the Lord: These include
i) Authority of the believer
and
ii) Honour from the Father (John 12:26)
GREAT TRIBULATION
Matthew 24:31 prophesied “THE GREAT TRIBULATION” after the Saints would have been cut off with the Lord.
Surely, “the saints” are spared this ordeal.
Hallelujah
DIVINE RECKONING
“And It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Heb 9:27)
Surely, a “DAY OF RECKONING” awaits All men/women.
1 Corinthians 3:13 promised that our works will be “TESTED BY FIRE”
CROWNS
Indeed, the “REWARDS” are varied and categorised.
We have different “CROWNS” awaiting the saints such as:
i) Imperishable Crown
ii) Crown of Rejoicing
iii) Crown of Righteousness.
iv) Crown of Glory
v) Crown of Life
THE 1000 YEARS
Revelations 20 verse six also prophesied that “saints lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” Looking forward to this Millennium.
THE BOOKS OPENED
Revelations 20 verse twelve prophesied that the books will be opened and “He will punish everyone according to what they have done”
Conclusion
With these “REWARDS” assured, Brethren, It is WORTHWHILE to serve the Lord.
Indeed, the Lord has “NOT CALLED THE SEED OF JACOB TO SERVE HIM IN VAIN” (Is. 45: 19)
PRAYER
(Romans 8:17)
Father, we thank you for the privilege of being “SONS, HEIRS & JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST”
We pray that at the WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT, our names shall be found in the Book of Life. Amen.
