As Christians, in our journey through life, sometimes our deepest hurts or betrayals do not necessarily come from people we recognize as enemies, but from close friends, the Psalmist in the Bible expressed deep sorrow in Psalm 55:12 regarding how a close friend hurt him, the close friend wasn’t just anyone, but someone they went to worship in Church together, his very close friend,
Unfriendly Friends have been since the days of the Bible and we cannot ignore the fact that they exist, therefore you need to pray to shield yourself and your family from their attacks.
Unfriendly Friends may not be enemies from the onset, but because they have allowed envy, jealousy, malice take over their thoughts, they eventually turn against the very people they once regard as friends.
One of such cases is Judas Iscariot, a disciple of Jesus Christ, who followed Jesus, listened to all his teachings and was even a treasurer of the group, but because of greed he allowed himself to be used of the devil and he eventually betrayed Jesus with a kiss.
There are some people you regard as friends but are actually enemies going by the things they think, do and say behind you, this is why we call them unfriendly friends, they appear to be friends but are actually enemies.
However, it is important to highlight that there are still great friends just like Jonathan, one who will be willing to support their friends to achieve their assignment and purpose on earth, but our focus today is on unfriendly friends. To recognize unfriendly friends, one needs the spirit of discernment, and listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit regarding friends around you can also help you recognize and deal with unfriendly friends
Praying against unfriendly friends is not a malicious act neither is it an act of paranoia, these are just prayers to recognize unfriendly friends, prayers for wisdom on how to deal with them and prayers to be shielded against their attacks, and for those unfriendly friends who will be willing to change, we will also be praying that the Lord will help them and grant them a change of heart and realign them to his purpose in Jesus mighty name.

30. Lord I ask that you touch the heart of every unfriendly friend around me, let your light shine upon their heart exposing their evil heart to them, that they may change their thoughts and ways in Jesus mighty name
