Has the Lord been good to you so far? Have you been enjoying the faithfulness and mercy of God this season? Do you have reasons to thank God this year? Have you been seeking for a breakthrough for many years and the Lord just did it? All these and many more are reasons to show God deep gratitude and that’s why we’re sharing with you these prayers of thanksgiving.
Alot has been happening in the World scene, but the fact that you are still alive and well is a huge reason to show gratitude, even if you feel like God has not answered all your prayers, remember that only the living can have prayer points, if you look deeply into your situation, you will find reasons to thank God (Ecclesiastes 9:4)
The Bible says in Lamentations 3:22-23- “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” Indeed if not for the mercies of God upon our lives, many of us won’t be alive today, but because God’s compassionate are been renewed each new day concerning us, that is the reason we can live and still enjoy the benefits of redemption in Christ
So if you don’t feel like God has done anything for you, remember His mercies that are new every morning, it is indeed because of His mercies we have our breath and sanity. It is because of His love that He did not allow the plans of the enemy prosper over your life (Psalm 124:6-8)
Also remember His promises to you and how He has fulfilled lots of them if not all, His promises of divine protection, divine provision, healing, peace, love (Isaiah 54:17 1 Peter 2:24, Philippians 4:19, John 14:27 Romans 5:8) etc
These and many more are reasons you must show gratitude to God this season.
Therefore, instead of complaining and murmuring about all the things that have not yet worked out in your life, it is time to show gratitude to God. As you say these prayers of thanksgiving, may the Lord accept your thanksgiving in Jesus name
